    Who's Brock?

Doubtless, and fan of the anime knows about Brock, or Takeshi in the original version, is the girl crazy Rock Pokemon gym leader from Pewter City. He is a rather dark skinned boy of 14/15, always wearing that same green vest, brown pants, and bright orange Tee-shirt, with the optional pink frilly apron. He loves to cook, and joins up with Misty and Ash after his father returns, to form the infamous Twerp Trio!
Brock is girl crazy, and will do ANYTHING to try and get a good looking girl to date him. His eyes..or what pass for eyes...baloon into hearts, and he begins to blush and drool. Then he’ll stammer and stutter, until he says something really stupid, and just stands there, leering at the poor woman. In the Orange Islands, Brock takes a vacation from his travels to stay and help Proffesor Ivy, a female Pokemon researching friend of Proffesor Oaks...who also happens to wear a very low cut shirt.
But, our dear Brock comes back! After close to a season, Ash and Misty return with a Pokemon sketching Brock substitute, Tracey. Guess who they find at his mom’s place? BROCK! Apparently, Proffesor Ivy did SOMETHING, and Brock left, coming back to Ash’s mom’s house..cause, well, he thinks Ash’s mom is hot. Tracey stays behind with Oak, and Brock joins Misty and Ash as they head to the new Johto league

    Who's Tracey?

    attachment

Tracey is the 14 year old boy who joins Ash and Misty on their adventure
through the orange islands. Tracy is a "Pokemon Watcher", meaning he watches Pokemon, draw pictures of them, and studies them.
When He founds out that ash and misty know Professor Oak, he "invites himself in" and from then on he rides on the lapras with ash and misty. The funny thing is that every time he sees professor oak, he gets massively hiper, and he has stars in his eyes

    Tracy Sketcher

Tracy Sketcher is a Pokémon Watcher. He watches Pokemon and sees if they are in good health. His first appearance is in "The Lost Lapras" He joins Ash Ketchum and Misty on their journey while Ash battles in the Orange League because Tracy wants to meet Professor. His Pokemon are: Venonat, Marril, and Syther.

    Who's Professor Oak?

    attachment

Professor Oak is a Pokemon Professor that gives trainers their first Pokemon. He will also give them a Pokedex. A Pokedex tells trainers about Pokemon they see. Professor Oak helps trainers as they travel to become Pokemon masters. - J. McDonald

In the cartoon, Professor Oak is a combination of a person with high intelligence, and a buffoon. He seems to be becoming more & more a minor character as the show goes on.

    Who's Team Rocket?

    attachment

Team Rocket is an international Pokémon crime syndicate, of which the two most famous (and inept) members are THE Team Rocket, Jessie and James. They're always accompanied by Meowth, the only pokemon who speaks a human language.
Together with their own pokemon (Ekans and Koffing, who later evolve into Weezing and Arbok) they travel around stealing pokemon. At least, that's what they try to do...they never manage to succeed.

It seems that no matter what ingenious plan they concoct, Ash, Misty, Brock, and Pikachu are always showing up and thwarting their schemes. Team Rocket wants a Pikachu, and not just any Pikachu will do. They want Ash's Pikachu and have tried to capture him on several occasions. They never manage to accomplish anything but being "blasted off" in the end of nearly every episode. At times they seem to be the most brilliant of criminal minds, yet they're plans always backfire.

1.30.01 Jessie is a loyal member of Team Rocket.
Accompanied by her partners James and Meowth, her one goal is to capture
Pikachu and defeat her rival Cassidy.
Before she joined Team Rocket, Jessie's ambition was to become a Pokémon Nurse.
However, after she realized that she was never cut out to be one, Jessie left and
joined the bike gang in Sunny Town. There, she met James.
They both attended Pokémon Tech together where they eventually flunked out.
Jessie's rocky past has led her down the dark path of joining the greatest criminal
organization in the Pokémon World, but deep inside that rough exterior still lies the
heart of a kind and caring woman.

    Pokémon:
    Ekans
    First Seen: Pokémon Emergency
    Evolves In: Dig Those Diglett

    Lickitung
    Caught: Princess Versus Princess

    Shellder
Caught & Released: The Evolution Solution
    ______________________________________________
I have some info on Jessie of Team Rocket's past. Her mom, Miyamato, was in Team Rocket. On a mission to the Andes Mt's to try and capture Mew she was said to have gotten killed by an Avalaunche. Jessie was only 4-6 when she died. Ever wonder why she joined TR or loves snow so much? - Jessie

    ________________________________________________

Team Rocket is actually the Team Rocket Go-Team. The full Team Rocket is a band of PokèMon theives, all scheming together under the leadership of Viridian Gym Leader Giovanni to get rich through the stealing and subsequent selling of Rare and Valuable Pokèmon. The Team Rocket Go-Team consists of 16 year old Jessie, 15 year old James, and Meowth, the only Pokèmon known to talk (except for Lugia, Slowking, and Mewtwo).

Jessie: Poor as a kid, Jessie was forced to go into Bicycle Gangs as a young girl to get recognition from other people. When an offer came on the table for her to Join Team Rocket, She jumped at the idea. She prides her hair most of all, and her worst fear is having a Crew Cut. She gets easily enraged at her imbicilic partner James.

    PokèMon: Arbok, Lickitung

James: James was a rich child growing up. After his parents forced him to become engaged to a girl named Jessebell, he ran away from home, never to be heard from again. he joined a bicycle Gang and met Jessie, where the two formed a friendship (and possible romance) with each other. They both signed up with Team Rocket at the same time, and have worked as a Team since then.

PokèMon: Growly (A Growlithe), Victreebell, Gyarados (Went Wild), Weezing.

Meowth: Stranded as a pet PokèMon, Meowth joined a Persian gang. He was often caught, being a slow Meowth. After he fell in love with a Beautiful Female Meowth, he taught himself how to talk human and walk Human to impress her. She rejected meowth and went with the leader of the Persian gang instead. Later, Giovanni found Meowth in an alleyway, and took him in as his pet. He later put Meowth on the Team Rocket Go-Team after Persian replaced Meowth as his pet.

    What's a Pokemon???

    What's a Pokemon???

Pokemon - (pronounced Poh-KAY-Mahn) - are known as Pocket Monsters in Japan, where it all began. Pokemon are as popular in Japan as Mickey Mouse is in the United States. (They can't be called Pocket Monsters in the U.S. due to another company owning that U.S. trademark).

Pokemon started off as a simple Nintendo Gameboy game. The primary goal in Pokémon is to find, capture and train various monsters, all in an effort to become the world's greatest Pokémon trainer. There are more than 250 Pokemon monsters to catch, and they keep adding more every year.

Japan was taken over these by these pocket monsters in 1996, and this phenomenon spread to the United States in late 1998. Pokémon jumped off the Game Boy game and onto toys, clothing, cartoons and even snack food. You can't go anywhere in Japan without running into Pokémon, and now Pokemon has the U.S. under its belt as well.

Pokémon appeals to many ages and types of fan, which is a big part of why it's so popular. Players enjoy the role-playing, collecting and trading aspects of the game, which make Pokémon so unique.

There is also an animated Pokémon series on TV. Fans of Japanese anime will especially love this series, which is a prime-time hit in Japan. The series is loosely based on the game's plot, following the exploits of a young Pokémon trainer and his tamed Pokémon, Pikachu. The show plays all over the U.S., and at one time took away the time morning slot in New York from the likes of ABC, CBS, and NBC
