--- Rules for Channel Users ---
1. No op begging, this position is an earned one.
2. No fighting. Take it to another channel or PM
3. No racial or ethnical slurs will be tolerated.
4. No channel CTCP commands (this does not include CTCP triggers, those are personal CTCP commands).
5. No MP3 announcements, everyone doesn’t need to know what your listening to.
6. No repeating. If we didn't read it the first time, wait a minute or two.
7. All timers (serving) must be on 30 minutes.
8. No server, channel, or website spamming. This includes private messaging users about other channels/networks.
9. Please be respectful to others in the channel and refrain from using profanity and crude language, some find it very offensive.
10. No auto-responders (+v etc.) or away messages. You may set your away settings to notice the person, but nothing in open channels. With so many users it makes the channel cluttered.
11. No running ftp’s.
12. Trading or requesting files is not allowed in any channel, please download files like everyone else.
13. Auto downloaders and harmful/annoying ******s are not allowed to be used in the channels. Examples: Bottler, OmenServ, IRC-Ork
--- File Serving Rules ---
1. Only complete TMD movies are allowed to be served in #TMD-Moviez. If TMD didn't release it then it isn't allowed to be served.
2. Incomplete files are not allowed to be served. Don't share your downloads folder!
3. All servers must use a CTCP trigger, if your not sure how to set it then join #TMD and ask.
4. Only Fservs are allowed to be ran in #TMD-Moviez. XDCC servers are not allowed unless you have special permission from the founders.
5. No FTPs are allowed. Most FTPs are ratio or scam sites and it is a waste of time to test them.
6. No moneymaking fserves are allowed. Go get a job and support yourself.
7. Make sure your Fserv ad timer is set to 30 minutes. Nothing more, nothing less.
8. Servers are asked to serve current TMD moviez. (Moviez that are in channel topic) at least 3 of them
9. Have the first trigger set for current TMD moviez only.
10. Servers need to monitor fserv status and verify it is working. If an fserv is found to be not working, a pm (private message) will be sent to notify you. If no response is heard, removal from distro or a ban may be set until the problem is resolved.
11. Make sure disclaimer is present in welcome text area of trigger setup page.
12. If at all possible, please do not use folders for individual movies. Some new people have a hard time using the cd (change directory) command.
13. Please enable 2 retrys to be used for sends. This will stop a lot of aggravation.(On Invision, go to Invision,dcc manager,setup)
14. If you are having problems getting an fserv to function, do not continue to let ad run in channel. Go into #tmd and ask for help
15. Do not place any type of request ad or spam notice in fserv ads.
16. Do not run fserv in any other channels, (#TMD-Moviez and/or #TMD-Music) only.
17. If you are caught starting your fserve to be voiced and then turning it off, you will be removed from distro access or banned from the channel.
18. Your fserve must be running the whole time you are in distro or you will be kicked until it is started, multiple offenses and you will be removed.
19. No priority queuing. This makes a lot of people use a TMD nickname and they never have any intention of serving.
20. Setting bandwidth limits is not allowed, everyone including dialup users have a right to download. If you see a slow user start another send.
21. Music and music videos are to be served in #TMD-Music only, please none in #TMD-Moviez.
22. Help files are only to be sent by ops, you are not permited to send/serve these files.
23. You are not allowed to be oped, voiced, or be serving in other channels. Or be running your own channel no exceptions.
--- Distro Rules ---
1. Serve only TMD encoded moviez (as they are released by TMD, no editing or renaming). No warez (games, software, porn). Music can be served in #TMD-Music.

3. You are to serv 16 hours a day for 10 days With your TMD- nick this time does not have to be straight but will be out of 12 days.
4. Once you have completed your time to gain Access to #tmd-distro, You must Serv 5 days out of 7 days ( Monday - Sunday ) to Keep it.
5. When you have completed your time to Gain access to #tmd-distro, Please type /join #TMD-Distroaccess.
6. #TMD-distroaccess OPS are the ones who track your time, They will check you once in a ten day period and tell u your server stats. Once you join the channel please read the topic for Instructions.
7. Make sure your ALT Nick is Set to TMD-YOURNICK-AFK, this is the only way to keep up your stats. If you need help setting this up please join #tmd and ask for help.
8. Once you have gained access to #tmd-distro you must be voiced and server running prior to entering #tmd-distro, If you are not you will be kicked out. If this happens alot you will lose your access to #TMD-Distro.
9. You are to download all the New Moviez as they come out and serv them in #tmd-moviez. Download them all not just what u want.
10. We monitor servers every day to ensure your updating and serving, We check your stats once a week to see if you have made your time, if you have not then you will be removed.
11. If your removed from distro then the first removal u will have to do 5 days 16 hours a day to get it back, if it is your second time or more you will have to redo your full 10 days to get it back.
12. Distro is not to be talked about in the other channels! Whats in distro stays in Distro. If you have any trouble in Distro Message a op.
13. If you are having problems with your fserv and cannot serv, or you will be away for a period of time, please join #tmd-distroaccess and inform a tracker.
--- Distro Qualifications ---
A. Have a TMD- on your Nick
B. Be serving 3 COMPLETED topic Moviez ( and updating as you move through your time)
C. Be able to Serv 10 days 16 Hours a day out of 15 days to gain access. Then maintain 5 Days 16 Hours a day out of 7 days ( Monday - Sunday ) to keep it
D. Must Have Cable, DSL, or faster connection (MIN OF 10k UPLOAD)
E. Must Be Stable And Reliable at all times
--- Op Rules ---
1. Be around! If you are going to be Opped, you are expected to be online and watching the channel.
2. If you are away, use an away nick or an auto-responder message that states you are away. This lets users know you are not there, not ignoring them.
3. If you are asked to do something, please feel free to have questions about why, but do so to the op that asked you to do it in a private message. We will be more than willing to explain at that point or we will have an explanation when there is time to get one. If you are not satisfied with the explanation, see a founder.
4. If an issue arises with another op, try to work it out with him/her in private. If that does not resolve issues, come to a founder and get him/her involved. We are not here to baby-sit, but will do our best to keep peace between users.
5. We have Chanserv and a bot. If someone wants to get Oped, they know how. If services are down, the founders will work with the Ircops to get access, DO NOT op anyone, let services do it.
6. If flooding occurs in the channel, set +m and +i until things settle down. MAKE SURE YOU UNSET IT AFTERWARDS
7. All major decisions involving the channel will be made by the founders, but ops will be asked for their opinion and input.
8. Get the new movies when they are in distro. It looks bad if our ops dont have the new stuff.
9. ALL kicks and bans must contain reasons except including founders, unless it is an emergency situation(flooding). If you are questioned on a kick, be prepared to explain yourself.
10. Log the channel and private messages. Store them for at least a week.
11. Channel duties (outside of watching the channels and helping) will be assigned to ops. If you do not fulfill the requirements, you will be spoken to by a founder, and possibly removed from access.
