first of all im gonna talk about helmets now i may talk about other hats later
but man i cant stop thinking of helmets i like them


this is called a templar helmet ,templars are crusaders from the 14th century
i dont know why is it made this way but i think one of the reasons is to hide the identity of the templar
and of course it is used for protection
