-الكايتن استخدمت للدفاع،وصد هجمات الجيوبي،ولكنها لم تشكل عائقا للجيوبي،حيث انها لم تفلح في النهاية،لإستمرار الجيوبي بالهجوم عليهم،وهذا بمجرد ان هاجمهم بيده ،وإبر من الخشب فقط،لم يعجز الجيوبي عن استخدام المكتون ،بل هاجم ناروتو وعاد الجيوبي لمهاجمتهم بالخشب،ومات نيجي من ذلك.وناروتو الجزء الاول استطاع التعامل معها.
-الكايتن تقنية دفاعية اكثر من كونها هجومية.
-شتان ما بين الجيوبي لوحده،وبين جينشوريكي الجيوبي،البيجو تزداد قوته ان اصبح له جينشوريكي،ومادارا كانت لديه عين رينغان.
-البوابة الثامنة ،كانت هجومية ودفاعية في نفس الوقت،استطاعت مجاراة الريكودو مادارا،ورأينا ما فعلت به.
-لذا لاتوجد مقارنة بين البوابة الثامنة والكايتن.
