Gigandet was born in Tacoma, Washington to Jay and Kim Gigandet, along with one sister named Kelsie. After graduating from Auburn Senior High School in Auburn, Washington in 2001, he moved to California where he attended Santa Monica Community College, where he first took an acting class.

Cam studied karate in high school and pursued Krav Maga while living in L.A.

He attended Cascade Middle School and Auburn High School, which he graduated from in 2001.

He also attended the Santa Monica Community College located in Santa Monica, CA.

Cam has the word “Godspeed” tattooed on his left hip.

He also got his first tattoo (the dragon on his arm) in high school and added the red graphic a couple years ago, but he is currently in the process of having it removed.

He broke his nose when he was 18 (along with many other bones) and it has been that way since.:ميت:

At one time he has mentioned enjoying the music of Snow Patrol and Ray LaMontagne.

• Cam has been described as being quiet, shy and very much down-to-earth by his co-stars.
