Jeremiah knows it apparently because if you re-watch the final episode, you'll see that he smiled when lelouch was stabbed before he commanded "retreat" to subordinates.
Who Were Geassed:
c.c was talking with that cart-driver aloud and the cart driver's face was intentionally kept hidden, because to keep people with comments "well i knew he will die in the end" thinking "yeah, we guessed right"
but unfortunately you guessed wrong, since you were geassed. lol
The Best Thing:
the best thing is kept for C.C x Lelouch fans. C.C now have a partner in her journey through eternity. Lelouch kept his promise to C.C that he will bring her happiness.
So Where Did He Inherit The Code From
from charles and not c.c, since charles died at his hand, he got the code and it was activated when suzaku stabbed him. like charles' code was activated after he was shot by lelouch. death makes the code bearer immortal and they become a code.
Additional Proof
nunnally touching lelouch and seeing his past inside the World of C is the proof that he became a code like C.C and it got activated.
Why Did Suzaku Cried Then
no one knows about Lelouch's Code, not even suzaku.
and all he knows is that he is the one who killed lelouch and thats why he cried. He might have been a B@stard in almost throughout the entire series, but he made amendments for his wrongdoings by becoming Zero in the end.
Did Kallen And The Black Knight Figured Out Lelouch's Intention
kallen and black knights figured it out in the very end that Lelouch sacrificed himself to bring world peace and and their expression says it all.
So Why Did C.C Cry
the last few episodes is the reason. she really started to love lelouch in the end. the fight with kallen to protect lelouch made her understand that she wanted to win something for the first time she never knows since when. and she wanted to win for lelouch. she cried because she knows the pain of living for eternity, transcending time and people around them.
so thats your code geass's decode. and the reason it is named R2.
because Lelouch IS R2 :)
