Circadian rhythm
Circadian rhythm is the 24hour biological cycle for humans, animals, and plants. The normal time signal for this cycle is the change from darkness to light. The human body can learn to work in cycles between 18 and 28 hours. When we are awake, mental and physical function are more active and growth increases. When we are a sleep, there is a decrease in respiration, heart rates, and blood pressure.
Description to circadian cycle usually has a negative effect in the short term. Many travelers experience a condition known as Jet lag with its symptoms of fatigue confusion and insomnia.
Military people who work shifts also have problems with their body clocks. Our internal clock control many parts of our body.
