Easy completion of Night Drop mission
When you meet up with the French rebels you will have a choice to go left to the Flak 88s or go through the house to the right. Go left to the guns, then kill all the Nazis around the gun and in the ditch leading to the next gun. Then, blow up the 88 and move on to the rest of the guns. After you blow up all the guns you will reach the house you would have if you went right. When you go in the house you must defeat a Nazi that is standing there waiting for you. Kill all the enemies in the house and fall through the burning floor. You will see your allies there waiting for you.
Good gun in The Island mission
In the second mission, "The Island", there will be a man under the second bridge with a FG42 scoped. That gun will get more ammunition every time you kill someone. The gun starts with 96 ammo remaining and you can kill about 150 people with it (not including melee). After completing that mission you will have the gun on the third mission, but you must save the gun through the third mission to get it in the fourth mission and so on.

Go to the options menu and set "Illegal Blows" to "Off". Then, go to the fight store and buy the illegal head punch called "Elbow Shot". During a fight, use the Elbow Shot to counter attack each time your opponent throws a punch. Note: Make sure you use the Elbow Shot as a counter attack so that you can connect cleanly and powerfully on you opponent's head. You will see that the Elbow Shot inflicts a lot of damage to your opponent, and will KO him in a short period of time, or TKO because you inflicted so much damage to his eyes.
Remain undefeated
During any fight in Career mode, if you get knocked down and you think you are not going to make it, turn your PlayStation 3 off before the bell rings. When the game is resumed, you can start the match again without a loss.

Impact Blocks (Right Analog-stick Up) are more effective if you have a size advantage against the player you are blocking, while Cut Blocks (Right Analog-stick Down) are more effective if the defender is bigger than you. Turn Blocking (L2 and R2) works best for offensive linemen when they are trying to create an interior hole for the running back. If you get beat and you must resort to dirty tactics, try Holding (L1).
Better running
When running the ball, the Highlight Stick is the best way to beat a defender in the open field. Press Up on the Highlight Stick to cause the ball carrier to play to their strengths and attempt to either power through or quickly shake past the defender. Press Left, Right, or Down on the Highlight Stick to make the ball carrier do a quick juke move in the specified direction. These moves are great for keeping your opponent guessing.
Cut Moves (L1 and R1) are a quick way to change the direction of the ball carrier without having to lose too much speed. If you are running in a certain direction and the defense is closing in, cutting in a different direction can be a good way to get past the defenders. These moves are best done by quicker running backs with high agility ratings.
When the running back has the ball in the backfield, you can use the Cut Moves (L1 and R1) to get through the holes in the offensive line. These moves are called Behind the Line Jukes, and they can only be performed when the ball carrier is approaching the offensive line. These moves allow the ball carrier to turn his hips and squeeze through small holes in the offensive line that normally he would not be able to get through.
Avoiding injuries
When you think one of your players may be injured on offense, hurry the play up and they will usually get back up.
Use Performance Institute more than once per week in Superstar mode
Use the Performance Institute on the day of a game. Save the game to a memory card, then remove the memory card. Next, simulate the game, then exit the game without saving. Insert the memory card back in and load your superstar. You will be able to use the Performance Institute again while still retaining the benefits gained from the last time you used it. Repeat this process as many times as desired to raise all Performance Institute stats.
Choosing correct parents in Superstar mode
When starting Hall Of Fame mode, certain parents will give you large boosts in key stats. If you want a receiver that is very fast, choose a Hall of Fame WR father with the "He was the Randy Moss of his time" note. Your player should have 95 or higher speed. If you want a fast quarterback, look for a Pro Bowl or Hall of Fame QB father with the "He was the Michael Vick of his time" note. Your player will be very fast and have good throwing power. Note: If you choose a father with the "He was his era's Tom Brady" note, he will be very slow (55 or less speed) and not be able to outrun anyone.
Better agent in Superstar mode
Answer the interview questions as a team player. Then when you hire an agent, more of them will want to sign with you.
Keep Influence and Role points in Superstar mode
When you finish a game in Superstar mode do not save or turn off the system. Do all the practices and gameplans and start the next game. Do the coin toss and choose to receive or kick or direction depending on coin toss. When you get to the screen with the play the coach picked for the kickoff, pause the game. Save the game and then turn off the system. When you turn the game on and load Superstar mode, you should have all of your Influence and Role points from the previous game. For example, if you finished game 1 with 100 influence points, you will have 100 influence points at the start of game 2 to build on.

Successfully complete the Combat Training challenge for a character to unlock his or her fourth costume. Alternately, get a "Bronze" rank in a character's Comic mission.
Hard mode
Successfully complete the game on the Normal difficulty setting to unlock the Hard difficulty setting.
Recommended team
Use the following trick to make a hard to kill team. Create a team consisting of Wolverine, Blade, Luke Cage, and Ghost Rider (Bad To The Bone team). The team bonus will be that 5% of all damage will be regained as health. Also, all these characters have a way to regenerate health. Equip the following outfits. For Wolverine, Astonishing, max out Health Regen and Defense. For Blade, Ultimate, max out Health Regen and Defense. For Luke Cage, New Avengers, max out Health Regen and Defense. For Ghost Rider, Original, max out Resurrect Ally and Defense. It is also recommended that Ghost Rider be equipped with The Heart Of Mephisto (10% of attack damage turned into health) or a similar item because he is the only character without a Health Regen. Equip other characters with gear that increases defense or dodging capabilities. Not only will your team be difficult to hurt, but they will be absorbing and regenerating most of the damage they take. If a teammate dies, Ghost Rider will have about a 50% chance of resurrecting them. Note: Ghost Rider is the weak character. He does not regenerate, and if he dies resurrection is lost. Also, Wolverine will regenerate the fastest because he has an inherit ability to regenerate in addition to the suit's bonus.
For easy health, experience, energy, money, and Extreme Momentum Orbs for leveling, create a team consisting of Luke Cage, Elektra, and Dr.Strange. When they each have a full Momentum bar, get a group of enemies around you. Then, use the power. Elektra will stun all enemies with her Curse of the Hand. Then, Dr. Strange will use his Mystic Maelstrom to kill all stunned enemies, causing them to drop Extreme Momentum Orbs for each enemy killed. Luke Cage will use his Sweet Christmas to kill any of the remaining enemies, giving you +472% more money for each enemy killed in the attack sequence. This trick is especially useful for leveling characters, unlocking costumes, and maxing out stats. The best place to do this is in the Shield training simulator on the Thunderball mission. Even if you run out of time you will still get the levels and money; do not worry about killing the Boss. Just get your momentum on Luke Cage, Dr. Strange, and Elektra.
