I wanted to write for me, I don't care much who reads it. I just want it here for me, for myself

Lights shined within me
They led me to an eternal sleep
I always tried to awaken
Alas my attempts have gone with no use
Lights shined within me
Opened me to myself
Showed me what monster resides within me
Told me that my demons are taking the best of me
Lights shined within me
They showed me what have become of me
I turned to the monster that I ran away from all my life
Ate my soul and wept in agony
Lights shined within me
Laid me bare to my flesh
Laid me to my rotten soul
Opened me for my emotions
Lights shined within me
Guided me through a maze
Helped me to see me for me
Showed me what I can become
Lights shined within me
They led me to my heart
They led me to my freedom
Opened my eyes to the reality
Lights of my heart shined and with that I was free at last
