I wanted to share this little poem that I have written a while ago
I hope you enjoy it
It was long before I had to say anything
Thankfully I did not
Your eyes spoke to mine ever so loudly that my heart have heard it
It was just a bit amount of time before I realised I was dreaming
It seamed right and true
Although what is apparent is not always the truth
Who am I to make them love me
All could they have done is share their hearts like how I shared mine
And do I ever feel foolish
I do indeed
I sought stability and warmth in their eyes
But an eye is a reflection of what you want to see
Thought I would slip in time's love game
But instead I was the victim
I have been treated right
Could not believe that they would hurt me in such heart filling way
But they did and they have done it so right that I wanted to go back in time to relive the pain over and over
But it's too late
Time had given me my chance and it slipped right before my eyes
All I ever thought of was us
All I ever imagined was us
All I ever wanted was us
Still suffering, still in pain, still in vain
It is difficult and tough
But I am going to make it through because I am strong
